I lead Arnett International's executive search practice across aviation and regulated infrastructure. For over 20 years, I have worked in environments where governance, operational performance and public accountability sit side by side, supporting airport operators, delivery organisations and their stakeholders across the UK, Europe and the Gulf region through senior and critical appointments.

I work closely with boards and executive teams where the appointment has regulatory, operational and reputational consequence. In many cases, these mandates form part of formal succession planning discussions rather than reactive vacancy replacement. My focus is on executive and director-level mandates where the consequences of a wrong appointment are operational, not just organisational. I have led confidential mandates for Chief Financial Officers, Chief Commercial Officers, Chief Operating Officers and senior operational leadership across complex, multi-jurisdictional environments. Much of this work involves engaging leaders who are not actively seeking change and would not respond to conventional approaches. Shortlists are built through whole-market mapping and direct, discreet outreach rather than open advertising.

Every mandate begins with immersion in the operating environment. I invest time understanding regulatory pressures and leadership dynamics before engagement begins. From there, the process is run with discipline: whole-market mapping, contextual assessment, structured governance updates and partner-led engagement throughout.

I consider an appointment successful at 24 months, not at day one. Longevity under pressure is the measure. Where data is available and with client consent, we track outcomes beyond placement.
